If your club is hosting a Bowls Australia BPL Cup round, you will need to enter the results into BowlsLink.
To be able to enter results, you will need to have one of the following permissions in BowlsLink:
- Club Competition
- Club Administrator
If you don’t have either one of these access types or are not sure contact your state to arrange access.
- Selecting Profile
- Navigating to the competition
- Ready to enter scores
- Final series – if applicable
Login #
Firstly you will need to log into BowlsLink: https://bowlslink.com.au/
Then type in your email address associated with your membership and your Password. If you need to reset your password you can also do this via this login page.
Selecting Profile #
Once you have successfully logged in and done the 2FA (Club Administrators), you will need to select a profile from the drop-down list.
You should see two options, and both should be your club. The top option is your club administration profile which is the option we will be choosing for this. The bottom option is your personal club membership profile, which is what you will choose when you are entering competitions.
So click on your club name under Club Administration (as per the picture below).
Navigating to the competition #
Once you are in your club administration profile, click on Competitions in the left-hand side menu bar.
It will automatically take you to the In-Play tab. Here is where you should find the competition you are wanting to put results into.
Ready to enter scores #
You are now ready to enter scores into the competition.
Click on the spanner against the correct competition and choose View Results.
This will then bring up all the matches to be played. It will do them in section order with all round for each section before it moves to the next section further down.
When you are ready to put a result in, find the correct match by looking at the section-round column and then who played who. Then click on the corresponding spanner to the match.
You will presented with two options to put scores in. The easiest and quickest way is to choose Quick Enter Results.
You will then go and fill out the score for each set.
If there was a tiebreaker, you will put the results in set 3 and tick that it was a tie-breaker, otherwise leave blank if no tiebreaker was required.
Make sure you move the slider over to yes on Finalise Results and then click SET RESULTS.
If there are any Byes in the fixture, you will just need to finalise the match by clicking the spanner and choosing Finalise Match.
Once the games are finalised they will automatically move to the played tab and update the results portal where the players can see the results and ladders.
Continue this with all matches.
Final series – if applicable #
If your competition has a final series set up, once all the results for the round games have been resulted, it should automatically move the section winners to the final series (If set up).
To put results in for the finals series is in the same section as putting the results in for the round games, it will just be separated with the heading – Finals Series –
Pop results in the same way. If have multiple rounds it will move the winners on to the next round.
